Head of Marketing

We are a fresh fast-growing software startup. We have the traction, the funds, the experience, and the ambition to build a great data integration platform and a great company. And we’re looking for a Head of Marketing to join this ride.
What you’ll be working on:
- Setting our growth strategy and shaping our overall vision
- Own product marketing: pricing, packaging, how we're positioned, our messages, ideal customer profile(s), research, competitive and industry insights, and the like
- Define the category-defining plays that will make Outfunnel the standard in data integration platforms for sales and marketing
- Lead our acquisition efforts including but not limited to content marketing, advertising, review sites, engineering-as-marketing, partner marketing, and affiliate marketing
- Lead, develop and grow our marketing team
- Manage our marketing and analytics stack and ensure we’re using the right data and right quality data for marketing decisions
- Help to make us famous: manage and operate programs and activities related to communication including but not limited to PR, social media, and events
- Collaborate with the creative function on branding, visual identity and tone-of-voice
- Collaborate with product and success / support functions to ensure optimal onboarding and retention of customers
- Last but not least, participate in the leadership group to shape the direction of the company
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably marketing to SMBs
- At least one major accomplishment to show, and a desire to do something notable at the next stage of your career
- Has deep knowledge in product marketing and at least one growth/acquisition channel (ideally something other than content)
- Is experienced in leading people and building a team
- Appreciates the (sometimes messy) collaborative and fast-paced startup work environment
- Previous experience at a SaaS company is a major plus
- Curiosity about sales and marketing alignment also a big plus

We're somewhat old-fashioned in the sense that we have an office and we gather in the same space regularly. But one of the team members is fully remote and working from home is always an option.
